PICKLED BASQUE PEPPERS GUINDILLAS
The guindilla is a fresh, green pepper that is eaten one of two ways: flash fried or, like these, preserved in vinegar.
The smooth peppers have a bit of bite but quality guindillas are not spicy. Our guindillas are grown outdoors, with only sun and rain, before being hand-harvested and hand-packed, an incredibly artisan, local product.
Perfect for making Basque pintxos, like the gilda, a toothpick threaded with anchovy, olive, and a guindilla pepper.
